The numbers that decide the show, before you get there

Stage, trim, rigging, power and dock as data you can compare, the rig in 3D, and the people to ask, not just a PDF you have to dig through.

Search that answers while you type

Venue names, cities and every word inside every tech pack, typo-tolerant and keyboard-first. Find the houses with “K2”, “Cam-Lok” or “shore power” in a second, with the matching line highlighted.

The rig in 3D

MVR scenes, GDTF fixtures and glTF, OBJ, STL or FBX models open in the browser. Measure, cut a section, see the beams.

Freshness you can see

Every document shows its age and every venue its latest revision. Save a venue and get an email when anything changes, field by field.

Tour fit report

The smallest stage, lowest trim and least power on the run, which venue it is, and every date that misses your numbers.

Compare venues

Up to four venues side by side, every spec lined up, in feet or meters.

Advance sheets

Send a structured advance to the venue, follow it to finished, print it for the day sheet.

One-click tour packet

Every date's current tech pack in one ZIP, organized by date and venue.

Previews in a click

PDFs, Word, Excel, images and ZIPs open in a fast built-in viewer, with search inside the document.

Talk to the venue

Call, text, email or message the right contact. Threads stay with the show date, live on the page and by email.

The neighborhood, mapped

Hotels, food, coffee, pharmacy, urgent care, hardware, music stores, laundromats, fuel, parking and the nearest airports around every venue, with walking times and directions.

3D and MVR, in the browser

Walk the rig before you walk in.

Open a venue's MVR scene or 3D model right on its page: on a laptop at FOH or a phone on the dock, with nothing to install.

Questions

Good to know

Is techpack.live free?

Yes for touring crews. Venues claim their listing, upload documents and use the specs builder and Plan Studio for free. Optional Premium plans (Touring Pro and Venue Pro) add extras like no sponsored content, named download reports and the branded PDF, each with a free trial. See Pricing.

How do I know a tech pack is current?

Every document shows when it was last updated, with a green, amber or red dot for its age, and every venue shows its latest revision. Save a venue and we email you the moment it publishes a change, field by field.

Can I open MVR and other 3D files without special software?

Yes. MVR scenes, GDTF fixtures and glTF/GLB, OBJ, STL, FBX, 3DS, Collada and PLY models open right in the browser, on a laptop or a phone. Orbit, measure, cut sections, see the beams and list the fixtures by type. How the 3D viewer works.

Our venue doesn't have a polished tech pack. Can we build one here?

That's what the Tech Pack Builder is for: fill in the standard specs, draw scaled stage, rigging and power plans in Plan Studio, and build a branded PDF in one click. Every publish is a numbered revision crews are told about.

How do I get my venue on techpack.live?

Search for it; many venues are already listed from packs they've sent out. Choose Claim this venue (or Add your venue) and sign up with your work email. More about claiming.

Does it work on my phone?

Everything works on a phone, including search, previews and the 3D viewer, and you can install it on your home screen like an app.
